Hi friends, here is your weekly dose of “Simply Good Life,” a list of things that will help you to grow personally and professionally. Enjoy!

Sleep Expert to Follow

The most skilled person I know in the area of sleeping is Matt Walker. Please follow him to learn how to make you and your family champions in sleeping. I especially like this tweet:

Reduce Lower Back Pain

Here’s a short video explaining how to reduce lower back pain, which is one of the most common medical conditions in the world. Focus on these seven daily exercises to not only reduce the lower back pain but also to improve your mobility.

Keep Your Identity Small

Do you know that it’s impossible to have an open discussion about a topic that is part of our identity? Religion and politics are part of our identity and we usually can’t have a fruitful argument about them.

I think what religion and politics have in common is that they become part of people’s identity, and people can never have a fruitful argument about something that’s part of their identity. By definition they’re partisan.

Try to identify with nothing or with just a few ideas to be much more tolerant. Don’t have labels for yourself!

Happiness Quote

If you want to be happy find out what makes you unhappy and reduce these things. Here’s a quote nicely describing this concept of becoming happy by understanding what makes you unhappy.

Everyone wants to be happy. Actually, it’s more accurate to say that no one wants to be unhappy.

Happiness is subjective and difficult to define. Unhappiness is straightforward and simple.

Ed Latimore

Now grab a pen and spend a minute writing down 10 things that make you unhappy.

Have a great weekend,

Adam
