Finding Your Passion In Work
Sometimes it’s important to remind ourselves why we’re doing what we’re doing and to take inventory of our dreams.
So ask yourself now: If you could do anything for 8 hours a day for the rest of your life, and money were no object, what would you do?
Four Pillars of a Good Life
One quote from the list above that resonates strongly with me is
Happiness is not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort.” — Franklin D. Roosevelt
Do you remember the four pillars I recommend to focus on daily to have a good life (physical, emotional, spiritual and mental)?
One of them — the mental pillar — is about using the brain to do something creative on a daily basis, to write down 10 crazy ideas or just to sketch. I try to do both things every day.
Here are some free sketching classes I went through to improve my sketching skills from non-existing to almost-non-existing :)
Books to Read
Take a look at this list of books that are highlighted the most densely. I often choose books I read based on this kind of lists. In this case, I just think books so densely highlighted give people so many things to learn that I just have to follow the recommendation.
Enjoy the weekend!
