Hi friends, here is your weekly dose of “Simply Good Life”, a newsletter that tries to make your day a little bit better and help you to grow personally and professionally. Enjoy!

Weekly Exercise to Boost Your Creativity

Recently, Bill Gated declared Steven Pinker’s very optimistic book “Enlightenment Now” his favorite book of all time.

Reading the ideas presented there showed me how different the world today is from the world just a century ago.

You’re 37 times less likely to be killed by lightning than you were at the turn of the century

Time spent doing laundry fell from 11.5 hours a week in 1920 to an hour and a half in 2014.

Praise

Did you know that the way how we praise others influences how they will perceive future challenges? In her book Mindset, Carol Dweck showed that 90 percent of students who were praised for their effort and not for the result, wanted a challenging new task that they could learn from.

Praise the process, don’t praise the result.

Join Me in the Kettlebell Challenge

I’m looking for someone crazy to go with me through the 10.000 kettlebell swings challenge!

This exercise alone can improve everything. It’s the ultimate combination of the most powerful exercise and hardcore strength work. Here are some results of people going through the 10.000 swings challenge:

  • Everyone got leaner, dropping a waist size or two, in 20 workouts.
  • Every athlete made visual muscular improvements in their physiques, adding lean body mass.
  • They could all train longer and harder when they went back to their normal training programs.
  • Full-body strength and power shot through the roof.
  • Abs were more visible. Glute strength was tremendously better.

Get ready to be better… at everything!

I Have 32 Summers Left

Time is all that we have.

Additionally, time is all we have a limited amount of.

No such thing as spare time.

No such thing as free time.

No such thing as down time.

All you got is life time.

Go. — Henry Rollins

Recently, an online life expectancy calculator showed me that I’ve already lived 60% of my entire life. Which also means, I only have about 40% left. Statistically, I will live until 25.11.2052.

32 more years left.

32 summers left.

All we got is life time… limited lifetime.

Carpe diem!

Have a great optimistic day!

Adam
