Hi all, here are some of my favorites this week. Enjoy the EQ video and my current health hacks.

EQ vs IQ

Emotional intelligence turns out to be one of the strongest predictors of success in any field. The surprise is that IQ correlates ZERO with the success at work, EQ very, very highly.

Health Hacks

I try to either fast or be in ketosis for at least one to two days per month. Why?

Science shows that simply going without food for a while may have anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and anti-tumor benefits and these are available to anyone, at any time.

Best Keto Food

Even if you’re not following the low-carb, high-fat keto diet, there are plenty of high-fat foods that are good for you. Here’s a list of the top 10 healthiest sources of fat that everyone should eat.

Geo Guesser — Great Geography Game

I am a geography junkie, I’ve learned all the countries and capitals of the world and I love geography games. Geoguessr.com is one of my favorites. It will put you on a random place in the world in Google Maps, and you have to figure out where you are. You get points for how close your guess is to the actual location.

Nothing Is Boring

What is boredom? Read this quote from Sam Harris’ fascinating book “Waking Up”:

One of the first things one learns in practicing meditation is that nothing is intrinsically boring — indeed, boredom is simply a lack of attention. Pay sufficient attention, and the mere experience of breathing can reward months and years of steady vigilance.

I used to fill every moment in my life with “productive” elements. After realising how fascinating it can be to just observe my thoughts during a boring moment I deliberately try to put some boredom to my life.

Enjoy some boring moments,

Adam
