Hi all, this issue is about passions, about what really matters, a wonderful movie and a great quote. Enjoy!

Should I Really Follow my Passion?

Don’t.

Instead of following your passion, find out what you’re good at and become great at it. In return, you’ll earn money and will over time become passionate about your work.

Focus on the skills you have instead of following your passion.

What Really Matters

Now take a few minutes to watch this short TED talk. Why? Because we all need a little reminder of what really matters in life. Ric Elias had a front-row seat on Flight 1549, the plane that crash-landed in the Hudson River in New York in January 2009. What went through his mind as the doomed plane went down? At TED, he tells his story publicly for the first time.

My favorite quote: I no longer try to be right, I chose to be happy.

A Movie I’ve Enjoyed

Based on the much loved novel by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows, THE GUERNSEY LITERARY AND POTATO PEEL PIE SOCIETY shows the free-spirited writer Juliet Ashton, who forms a bond with the eccentric Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, when she decides to write about the book club they formed during the occupation of Guernsey in WWII.

What a wonderful movie.

Don’t Seek for Love.

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” ― Jalaluddin Rumi

I love this quote. What do you think about it?

Have a great weekend friends,

Adam
